Operations Manager – State Farm Agency
Seth Walizer State Farm
2 Meridian Blvd., Suite 218
Wyomissing, PA 19610

Are You Ready to Be the Right Hand to a Successful State Farm Agent?

We’re looking for a highly organized, dependable, and proactive Operations Manager to help lead the day-to-day operations of our State Farm agency.

This is more than an administrative position. You’ll work closely with the agent to keep the office running efficiently, support the team, maintain accountability, improve processes, and ensure our customers receive the level of service they expect.

Previous State Farm agency experience and active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses are strongly preferred. However, we are willing to develop the right person who demonstrates strong leadership potential, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership.

You May Be a Great Fit If:

  • You are highly organized and naturally keep people, priorities, and deadlines on track.

  • You are detail-oriented and notice when something is incomplete, inaccurate, or falling through the cracks.

  • You communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and leadership.

  • You can manage multiple priorities without becoming overwhelmed or losing attention to detail.

  • You enjoy creating structure, improving processes, and helping a team operate more efficiently.

  • You are comfortable holding yourself and others accountable.

  • You are a problem-solver who looks for solutions rather than waiting for someone else to step in.

  • You want to play an important role in the growth and success of an insurance agency.

What You'll Do

As Operations Manager, you'll work directly with the agent and serve as a key point person for the daily operation of the agency. Responsibilities may include:

  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day agency operations.

  • Help manage team workflow, priorities, schedules, and follow-up.

  • Monitor tasks and processes to ensure deadlines and agency expectations are being met.

  • Track agency activity and assist with performance reporting.

  • Help establish and maintain efficient office procedures and workflows.

  • Identify operational issues and work with the agent to implement solutions.

  • Support onboarding, training, and development of team members.

  • Assist with customer service escalations and ensure appropriate follow-through.

  • Help maintain compliance with agency and insurance requirements.

  • Communicate expectations and help create accountability across the team.

  • Partner closely with the agent on agency goals, initiatives, and overall office performance.

  • Step in wherever needed to keep the agency organized, productive, and moving forward.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous State Farm agency experience strongly preferred.

  • Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience in insurance, financial services, office management, operations, or team leadership is a plus.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions.

  • Confident using technology and learning new systems.

  • Professional, dependable, and accountable.

Not currently licensed? We are willing to consider the right person who has the skills, experience, and leadership potential to succeed in this position and is willing to obtain the required Pennsylvania insurance licenses.

Why Join Our Team?

At Seth Walizer State Farm, we help people protect what matters most while building lasting relationships with the customers and community we serve. We're looking for someone who wants to become an integral part of the agency—not simply complete a list of administrative tasks.

If you're organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to become the person an agency can count on to keep things running smoothly, we'd like to hear from you.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
